What do I do if the squeegee is unlevel?
An unlevel squeegee causes streaks or excess water. Try flipping the blade first, then adjust the rear casters if needed.
Flip the squeegee blade:
Power off, then tip the machine back on its rear casters (or use the wheels) to expose the underside.
Locate the squeegee bar clips at each end of the blade bracket — no tools needed.
Release the clips, slide the blade out, flip it end-for-end or edge-for-edge to expose the unworn side, and reseat it.
Confirm it is seated flush before closing the clips.
If that doesn’t work, check the rear caster height:
The rear casters set how much pressure the squeegee blade puts on the floor. If the casters are too low, the blade rides too high and doesn’t fully contact the floor; if too high, the blade drags unevenly. Adjust so the blade makes firm, even contact across its whole width.
