What causes a push rod motor overcurrent error?

A push rod motor hardware overcurrent error is often caused by the skirt coming detached — check that it is still attached.

Check whether the skirt has fallen off:

Power on the machine and switch to Manual Mode.

Run a manual floor-scrub task — this lowers the brush disc to the ground.

Open the side panel, align the component with the mounting holes, and install it.

End the task — the brush disc will lift automatically.

Inspect to confirm the component is properly seated.

If the brushes still do not lower:

This alarm indicates an abnormality with the disc brush push rod motor, likely caused by foreign objects around the disc brush or interference from skirt detachment. The two common causes are (1) a foreign object obstructing the brush disc’s movement, or (2) detachment of the skirt component, which prevents normal brush deployment. Open the side door and check the part shown below.
