COVID-19 Coronavirus Response Team
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which may cause illness in animals or humans. In humans, several coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The most recently discovered coronavirus causes coronavirus disease COVID-19.

COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus. This new virus and disease were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.

The KBS COVID-19 Coronavirus Response Team has implemented an Emergency Response Plan to ensure the safety of its employees, customers, and maintain the cleanliness of facilities that we service.

The Plan emphasizes deliberate methods to measure, monitor, and adjust actions to changing conditions and improved protection strategies.

Both the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) are emphasizing the impact that consistent and proper cleaning in all areas have when working toward controlling the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The most effective way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to pathogens and viruses. We recommend utilizing these everyday preventative actions to help avoid the spread of respiratory diseases.

  • Sanitize your hands often.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve if you don’t have a tissue.
  • Refrain from touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • Limit social interaction.
  • Maintain a healthy lifestyle.
  • Seek medical attention at first signs of illness.
