“An annual savings of almost 10% per year portfolio-wide based on labor rate and labor burden”

Challenge:

The Customer has reported that bundles of cash have been found in the trash.
The Customer has also reported finding valuable, highly-sensitive documents in the trash that should have been saved or shredded.

Solution:

As a result of KBS-Varsity’s reputation and basic pillars of integrity and honesty, KBS-Varsity account manager was asked to come up with ideas to reduce costs and security risks related to the facility service providers. The Customer has come to recognize that when a KBS-Varsity manager tells them something, “they can take it to the bank.”
Implemented solution – Teller Trash: Have tellers bag their own trash, under the verification of the supervisor, at the end of their shift.
This ensures that there is no cash in the trash, as well as ensuring that all important documents that need to be saved are filed where they need to be filed or shredded, in the case of highly sensitive documents.

Results:

  • Reduction of 10 minutes a day on the teller line, with savings given back to the bank.
  • An annual savings of almost 10% per year portfolio-wide based on labor rate and labor burden.
