KBS, a leading facility services provider that serves over 75,000 clients across the country with over 35,000 employees, is currently searching for a Bilingual (Spanish) Field Human Resources Manager. In this role, the Field HR Manager handles a high volume of employee relations items on a regular basis and performs HR duties at a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting his/her designated geographic regions. This position works as a strategic and tactical partner with all levels of field management to retain a high-performance and diverse workforce in their assigned geographies. Serves as a business partner on HR-related issues. This position carries out responsibilities in employee relations, coaching, performance management, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. The Field HR Manager must be sensitive to business needs while maintaining compliance with employment law and employee satisfaction. Bilingual English/Spanish is required for this position.

Target salary range: $80k - $90k

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Responds to a high volume of employee relations issues.
  • Manages and helps resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations in accordance with KBS investigation and documentation methodology.
  • Provides guidance and supports field managers within his/her geographic assignment in handling employee relations issues and before executing employee disciplinary actions or terminations.
  • Participates in, influences and supports field management with performance management and termination decisions for field staff.
  • Prepares for terminations by guiding managers, gathering documentation and assisting in write-up of termination paperwork.
  • Works with field managers to improve working relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention, and to ensure compliant HR practices in their geographies.
  • Gathers pertinent information, including emails, texts and other paperwork, and thoroughly documents investigations.
  • Assists management and legal counsel in responses to State and Federal DOL investigations, EEOC or state agency complaints, and in response to legal actions as requested.
  • Works with managers and drives the performance focal review process in the field.
  • Completes special projects by conducting research, developing and organizing information, meeting timetables and schedules and working with the project team
  • Directs, supports and acts as a change agent in the rollout of HR initiatives, such as projects and acquisitions.
  • Partners with management to implement and communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
  • Works with Director to ensure fair, consistent and objective interpretation and application of HR policy, procedures and processes, and with local, state and federal laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills required.

  • Able to respond to change productively and to handle additional tasks and projects as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 6+ years of Human Resources experience is required.
  • Employee relations and investigation experience is required.
  • Experience with multi-unit settings and high volume of employees is required.
  • Relevant industry experience a plus.

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION

  • BS in Human Resources or Business; MBA a plus.
  • Professional designation of PHR, SPHR, CP or SCP is desired, but not required.
