Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC (KBS), the largest provider of technology-enabled, integrated interior and exterior property services to retailers, grocers, and multi-site customers in North America, announced that it has purchased Varsity Facility Services, a leading facility services provider in the United States and Canada. Varsity will join KBS as an operating division and will continue to utilize the Varsity brand.

Ahold Grocery chooses KBS for Floor Care Partnership Across 3 Regions: April 2015

KBS announces that Ahold USA has chosen KBS to provide daily floor care and janitorial services for the majority of its stores. Ahold USA is organized into four regional divisions – Giant Carlisle, Giant Landover, Stop & Shop New England, and Stop & Shop New York Metro – along with Peapod, the nation’s leading online grocery shopping and delivery service, which together operate around 770 supermarkets and 210 pick-up points in 14 states and the District of Columbia. “We worked closely with Ahold management to design a consolidated program that will deliver both savings and better performance” said Gene Paja, VP Sales with KBS. Best Buy awards all locations to Kellermeyer Bergensons Services: January 2015

Best Buy, the nation’s largest electronics retailer, has awarded all of its stores to KBS to provide daily floor care, cleaning, and related services. The Home Depot expands its partnership with KBS: January 2015

KBS announces that The Home Depot has expanded its partnership with KBS by awarding several more regions of stores under the daily floor care contract. “We have worked very hard over the past few years to partner with The Home Depot to continuously improve the appearance of the stores while also driving savings” stated Nathaniel Shaw, EVP for KBS. Loblaw Grocery enters partnership with Kellermeyer Bergensons Services Canada, ULC: January 2015

Loblaw Companies Ltd. has awarded KBS Canada a significant number of stores for floor care and daily cleaning services. PetsMart expands its partnership with Kellermeyer Bergensons Services: May 2014

PetsMart has awarded several more districts to KBS for the provision of cleaning and floor care services. “The expansion of this partnership shows the trust that PetsMart puts in KBS every day to provide a clean and safe environment for its customers and animals” stated Mazen Rihani, SVP Strategic Accounts for KBS. PetsMart is the largest pet store chain in the US with over 1,200 stores coast to coast.

Rite Aid grows its relationship with KBS: March 2014

Rite Aid has expanded its relationship with KBS with the award of additional store regions for cleaning and related services. Rite Aid has recently consolidated its vendor base to achieve efficiencies. “Rite Aid is a proactive company. We created an option for Rite Aid to consolidate its vendor base and save money, and it’s a win-win for both of us” stated Bob Crampton, KBS Regional VP. Rite Aid is the largest drugstore chain on the East Coast and the third largest drugstore chain in the U.S.

KBS grows again with Sears: March 2014

KBS announces that Sears Holdings has awarded another region of locations to the company. As the largest cleaning vendor for Sears, Kellermeyer Bergensons Services provides cleaning and other services to a majority of SHC locations. According to Dave Ward, KBS National Director of Operations “We really appreciate the long standing partnership that we have with Sears. As the economic environment changes, we are able to work closely with our customers to tailor our programs to their needs.”

TJX expands its contract with KBS: July 2013

KBS reports that in the fourth quarter of 2013, TJX again expanded its service management contract with KBS. By awarding numerous additional districts to the KBS portfolio, TJX is able to take advantage of KBS’s unparalleled geographic coverage density. Company EVP of National Accounts Jimmy Henley stated “We’ve had a long relationship with TJX. When another vendor faced severe challenges, TJX turned to KBS to assume service in a large area very quickly.”

JC Penney has recognized Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) as its National Housekeeping Vendor of the year for 2011. The prestigious award is recognized in the industry as one of the most coveted service awards granted by a major retailer. The award is based on the cumulative performance for 12 months based on a variety of service measurements, and ranks each provider relative to its peer group. KBS Executive Vice President Jimmy Henley and KBS JC Penney Portfolio manager Mary Sue Casuey accepted the award on behalf of the company at the JC Penney Headquarter ceremony.

JC Penney awards KBS its Holiday Vendor Recognition Award for the second year in a row: February 2012

KBS reported that it was awarded the coveted Holiday Vendor Recognition Award by JC Penney in a formal presentation ceremony at the JC Penney HQ in Plano Texas. Michael's signs Kellermeyer Bergensons for North American Service Contract: February 2012

Kellermeyer Bergensons has reported that Dallas based Michael's stores has signed a multi-regional, Bi National services contract for stores in the United States and Canada. KBS President and Vice Chairman Mark Minasian stated, “We are very pleased to be working with Michael's at this level. In building the foundation of our service partnership we strove to first understand the nuances of the Michael’s store environments. We then worked closely with Michael’s management to craft a service architecture which would deliver a differentiated solution, ultimately enhancing their customers in store experience. Also, Michael’s was clear in that it was intent on delivering the exact same high standards for its Canadian stores, so the expectation is that a store in Ontario Canada would look and feel the same as a store in Los Angeles California, our program delivers consistent service across regions and borders, we are off to a great start.”

American Signature signs with Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS): January 2012

American Signature Stores, the Columbus Ohio based operator of the American Signature and Value City chains has consolidated its cleaning and supply provider base and awarded Kellermeyer Bergensons (KBS) a contract for retail store cleaning and related support services for all of its locations . KBS Vice President Philip Hobaugh stated “The ASI partnership allows us to add value to ASI by leveraging our national field management, insuring consistent results from region to region. Our proven ability to deliver this type of result was key in ASI’s decision to go with KBS.”

Food Lion signs with Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS): January 2012

Salisbury North Carolina based grocery chain Food Lion, has assigned Kellermeyer Bergensons a major regional contract for the provision of contract cleaning service management and related services. With approximately 20,000 service events managed per month under the contract, the KBS team built a performance management model which leveraged mobile audit technology, so that performance data is visible in real time and variances to standards are identified and acted upon immediately. KBS Executive Vice President Jimmy Henley stated “Food Lion has developed a highly refined service program which requires a high level of KBS management oversight. Our Food Lion customized mobile auditor technology that gets the right service information to the right people at the right time. Performance has been very strong and we are very committed to this important partnership.”

Walgreens expands its contract again with KBS: January 2012

KBS reports that in the fourth quarter of 2011, Walgreens again expanded its service management contract with KBS. Company Vice President Graham Powers stated “Walgreens cares a lot about how the look and feel of the store impacts their shoppers’ experiences. By leveraging our nationwide service platform and over 500 field managers, Walgreens is assured that its stores present well every day in every market we serve.
